To achieve our company vision, we have implemented robust governance processes designed to effectively manage risks, capitalize on opportunities, and support the delivery of our financial, environmental, and social objectives. These processes align with the ASX Corporate Governance Council 4th Edition Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations.
Board Structure & Oversight
Our Board is responsible for overseeing sustainability performance through our Corporate Governance Framework and Board Charter, which define management responsibilities and uphold our commitment to ethical and responsible conduct.
In August 2023, we established a dedicated Sustainability Committee to support the Board and Audit and Risk Committee in addressing sustainability-related risks, opportunities, and performance.
Our Managing Director holds ultimate accountability for the sustainability performance of the business. Under his leadership, the Senior Leadership Team drives the implementation of our sustainability strategy, guided by Our Values, Code of Conduct, and Sustainability Policies.
The Group General Manager Communication and Corporate Services and the General Manager Sustainability oversee sustainability initiatives across the organization. They work closely with our operations to enhance governance, and improve social and environmental performance, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
Transparency
We are dedicated to fostering open and transparent relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring clarity around our financial and sustainability performance, contributions, taxes, royalties, and payments to governments.
EITI Support
We actively support the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) and its mission to enhance revenue transparency and accountability.
Reporting
We publish detailed reports annually, outlining taxes, royalties, and other payments to governments by country and project.
Integrity
We are committed to conducting our business with integrity, adhering to all applicable laws in both host and home countries, as well as relevant international regulations.
